As much as we try to ignore it, this anxiety interferes with daily life, in responding to those around us. Anger & Stress

All these stuck emotions can cause stress, which profoundly affects health and happiness. Today’s world is filled with opportunities to get “stressed out.” So it’s easy to think a stressful life is NORMAL. Often in our daily toil, we may not even realize how much of it we’re experiencing.  In small doses, stress can be a good thing to give the extra boost one needs to get things done. Unfortunately, if a stressful situation lasts for days, weeks, or even longer, it can leach the joy out of life.

We know how troublesome these conditions can be…why are some days harder than others, no matter what you do?  If only you could just Google the answers and fix it all. Many studies on the relationship between stress and health show stress as the primary cause underlying illness and disease. That’s why we’ll look at all aspects – physical, mental, spiritual – to help you find your path to wellness.

At The Monterey Center of Alameda, our counselors have training in multiple modalities with 45 years of combined experience.  We are unique and work with you to design the personal approach that is best for you and your relief. Your personalized program at The Monterey Center of Alameda addresses the stress you may be holding in your life and how it relates in the body. We use biofeedback, nutrition and detoxification, course room training for improved communication and integrity skills, as well as journaling to discover and handle outside sources of stress.  You will quickly experience life becoming easier and feel hope returning.
